Product / Failed payments

Get paid for the payments Stripe gave up on

Expired cards, insufficient funds, bank declines. A share of every renewal fails, and most of it never gets retried at the right moment. Lucrovia finds every failed charge and brings it back.

How it happens

Why this leak is easy to miss

  1. A card expires or a bank declines the renewal charge.
  2. Stripe retries a few times on a fixed schedule, often on days the customer has no funds.
  3. After the last retry the invoice is marked uncollectible, but the account usually stays active.

How Lucrovia finds it

Detection

Lucrovia reads every invoice with a failed or uncollectible status, checks whether the customer is still active, and puts a dollar value on each one.

How Lucrovia fixes it

Fixes you approve

  • Retries on the days a card is most likely to go through, based on past successful charges
  • A short, friendly card update email sent from your domain
  • An in-app banner you can switch on for accounts with an open invoice
